“I am the silent bird of the night, Immersed in the light of my lagoons, Sighing creation...”
Many of us have traveled a path with native peoples, which has given us the experience of being bearers of these traditions: word circles, tobacco ceremonies, chanupa (pipe) circles, sweat lodges, power walks, waterfall rituals, ceremonies with native medicines, accompaniment through pregnancy and childbirth, lunar welcome circles for adolescents, and accompaniment through menopause.
We believe that life is a beautiful cycle of giving and receiving, and now is the time to share these ceremonies to expand the message of our grandfathers and grandmothers.
“We have learned that among women, there is no room for betrayal of any kind. The song unites us in the intonation and praise of our divinity...”Julia Torquatti
